Overview: EXCEL Academy Public Charter School serves students from Kindergarten through 8th grade, with a total capacity of 600 students. The school follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) model, providing a globally recognized and rigorous educational program. This project involves the renovation of an existing facility to better serve the needs of the school community.

Facilities: The renovation project for EXCEL Academy Public Charter School involves updating and enhancing a 63,000 square foot facility. The renovation is designed by Grimm + Parker Architects and executed by KasCon Inc. This renovation aims to create a modern, supportive learning environment that aligns with the IB educational model.

Financial Structure: The renovation project is financed through a tax-exempt bond with a 10-year term, underwritten by D.A. Davidson. The financing is facilitated by the Public Financing Authority through Education Revenue Bonds.

Completion: EXCEL Academy Public Charter School opened its doors in August of 2023.
